I still eat there every now and then but not anything like I used to. I was working as a temp in Macy's a couple of years back and they have a McDonalds in the store so I would get lunch there sometimes, especially with the employee discount. I started to notice that once I was done eating it, my body would feel like it was spinning. I never had that reaction before and it happened more than once. I found out I was having Salt Rushes & I never knew they existed. I stopped going there for a while but I've gone back on occasion and if I do, I tend to get the salads or maybe Chicken Selects. But I did have an Angus burger, the Mushroom and Swiss and it was pretty darn good. I still love the Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese but God knows when I'm going back there to have that again.

i dont eat it anymore nor my kids!! since they heard there was potato starch or something in the milkshakes, plus jamie oliver did his thing on telly about whats in a chicken nugget - not nice very disgusting!

since i went organic i cant stomach anything thats shite or tastes bland, cant eat at takeaways anymore although i do sometimes order chinese but have a lot to drink (alcohol) with it.

I dont even eat processed packaged bread anymore its disgusting!

even all my meat is organic.

I remember the first macdonalds opening in my area of london and it was considered a treat to go there. now all my generation have grown up lard arses eating junk instead of real food.

Have to say though it takes a few years for the smell to stop making you fancy a burger. Now it smells greasy to me, its a bit like smokin you have to get over the habit of that kinds food.

i think macdonalds is a dying fad thats run its sorry arse course. I dont know many people who encourage their kids eating it its a bit like coke too. They constantly advertise directly to kids and try to look all healthy, its all a bit of a leap too far too late.

Kids are better educated now about nutrician. sorrry i cant spell!!

sorry i know i sound boring!!! lol

I had managed to stay outta Mickey D's for almost 10 years until a friend mentioned their Big 'n Tasty burger and how good it was like 5 years ago. Every time I'd pass McDonald's I'd think of the Big 'n Tasty. It took me 5 years but I finally tried it and now I'm hooked. I prolly have a Big 'n Tasty meal 2-3 times a month. I really need to stop though. lol

GottaLetitgo

I heard a rumor several years ago about McDonald's hamburgers that was of course completely untrue but it caused me not to eat them for like 15 years. I Now I will eat an occasional Bi Mac (ketchup only, which seems to drive them nuts). Whoppers are better!
All good things they say never last...

I still crave McDonalds specifically, and not any other fast food. But I rarely enjoy a quarter pounder anymore. They taste like they're a month old.

Funny there is a McDonalds thread going right now, the owner of all 6 McDonalds in Santa Barbara, died last week at the age of 93. He is credited as the inventor of the "Egg McMuffin" there is a plaque in the McDonalds on state street, crediting him for inventing it in that restaurant in the early 70's, and McDonalds chains added it to there regular menu in 1973. thumbs up!

G for me. The only thing I like at McDonald's now are their greasy fries and their shamrock shake that they have for St. Patty's Day.

Which McDonald's burgers do you like?

a. Big Mac
b. Quarter Pounder
c. 1/3 Pound Angus Burger (any of them)
d. All of the above
e. None of the above
f. I like something else from McDonalds, i.e. Chicken McNuggets
g. I don't go anywhere near McDonalds/I eat somewhere else

Big Macs are okay... I'll eat one every once in a while. Usually I'll have the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and if I'm really hungry, I'll make it a Double QPC.

Angus Burgers aren't available at locations here in Seattle, apparently. shrug

Other than the above... sometimes I'll order the double cheeseburger. (I was glad when they made that a regular menu item, although in hindsight, I suspect it was always available upon request.) And when I was Catholic, I'd order the Filet-O-Fish on Fridays during Lent.
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

Fuck that shit. Of course they advertise to kids. It lies with the parents to say "No McD's today." Everything's good in moderation.

Plus, I used to eat McDonald's quite often (probably about once a week, in my pre-teen to early teen years) and I'm still skinny as a rail. What might give someone a heart attack might be good to someone else.
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together
