"Y Tu Mama Tambien!" --- Has Anyone Else Seen This Movie? There's a great spanish language film on DVD right now that received lots of attention by the critics and the academy... check it out!
It stars Maribel Verdu, Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal, and is about 2 teenage boys embarking on a road trip with an older woman. It's about friendship and passion... My wife and I enjoyed it very much and talked about it 4 a couple days after we saw it... so, I'm passing it on to y'all! U don't have 2 speak spanish 2 enjoy it, it's subtitled 4 those who can read!!! (fucking edits! pinchi edits! ) [This message was edited Mon Oct 28 14:33:27 PST 2002 by June7] |

i saw it...thought it was a cute lil movie...wasnt the big Mexico Film Revolution that critics slapped on it...i felt some of the scenes were slapped in for shock value and didnt really fit with the overall tone of the movie..
but, its was wonderfully acted..with great cinematography...and ive never seen Mexico look so beautiful... 8 out of 10 | |
