I'd see my book done and start another.

The Org, all day, every day!

hypothetically speaking as a professor (it'll happen)

of course i'd take it
and i'd fly around the world for the sake of broadening my knowledge of art and culture and life..

and then i'd come back and share it all with friends family and students..

i miss italy

i would use the time to write. i would take my laptop to NYC for a couple of months and be a coffee shop rat during the day, and hang out with my friends at night. then i'd come home, take a short break and go on a week or two's vacation with the bf, then do more writing at home and maybe spend a few weeks here and there writing in chicago and visiting my friends there.

not the most exotic plan, but i'd be happy as a clam.

Well...I wouldn't have any more money coming in than I do now. So it's unlikely I'd have it to spend on a dream vacation or something like that.

BUT...I'd have time to explore some things I've always wanted to do that didn't involve money...just time. I'd spend more time acting...or explore doing some voiceover work.

i didn't mind too much because he was beautiful - but my friends were all like WTF! RUN!

I remember back in the late '80's when John Scully was recruited to run Apple Computers. He had successfully run Pepsi, and thought he could transfer the same management techniques to Apple.

One of those techniques was that everyone had to take a 6-month sabbatical. Even Scully.

Problem was, in those days the computer industry completely changed about every 30 days. When people came back after being out of the loop for 6 months, they were totally lost.

Scully didn't last very long at Apple.

I would cruise around the Caribbean and take in the wonders of those beautiful islands. I would read and simply enjoy the peace and tranquility.
