If you could go back to a place/time/era, where would you go and why? I would go back to the Garden of Eden. Why? To defend Eve. She was an obvious scapegoat for the failings of the male entities in her midst. It was an unfair fight from the beginning and I would love to arm her fully for her successful defense. Think of how different the world would be if woman was equal to man from the start.

So considering your entry, ficticious places are fair game? That's what I was going to say. I didn't know we could go back into fairy tales.

Moderator | Ok if it's "real time" we are talking about...then I'ma say the late 60's early 70's... I'd probably start out as a flower child and end up part of the Manson Family.
If it's " fake time' then I wanna be sleeping beauty. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

You can stay or come back. As for time, I guess enough to change things if you wanted to Obviously I haven't ironed out all the kinks to this thread OK, now that I'm thinking about it, it's not as simple as going back. How would I explain to Adam or Eve who I am when god created only them? How would I avoid Adam, Satan and God in order to school Eve? . And when you think about it, wouldn't you rather be around when the fine apostles and other assorted Jesus gents were penning the masochistic slander? So you could 'enlighten' them with as much force as necessary?
That'd be a fantastic children's movie! Oh shit, my hat done fell off

I've got a report to hand in on Monday and a presentation on Tuesday, so I'm not sure if I can manage it any time soon.

That'd be a fantastic children's movie! I don't think the New Testament is masochistic in any way. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

The further back I go, the worse race relations are so I'm not going back too far. I'd say New York City in the late 60s and check out the music scene here.
I'm still on this mod kick from yesterday.

But, if we change the past, wouldn't it affect the future enough to possibly nix our existence (or at least ultimately change our minds regarding wanting to time-travel in the first place)? Plus, the moment we decided to leave wouldn't exist either! Oh shit, my hat done fell off

I'd go back to NYC in the 70s! The music scene was awesome. I'd especially love to be around the Salsa clubs back then. My dad always tells me of all of the shows he would go to back then. I'm so jealous!!!!

Good thread. As an adult during the 70's. New York, Moscow...Hong Kong, Tokyo. Hollywood, London...Doesn't matter. Just as long as I was of legal age during that period. I could take care of the rest. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

What if you went back and you and your dad met at a club and he was attracted to you instead of your mom?! Can you be your own mother? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
