For anyone who cares, I have a myspace blog about it. I needed to get it off my chest. I understand. I was at work the day that I had to put my cat, Scooter, to sleep (I was having him put to sleep right after I got home). I was an emotional mess all that day, crying, red, eyes, etc. Luckily a lady I was working with was a cat lover too, so she understood what I was going through. It's hard, but your cat is no longer suffering.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

a car accidentally hit my dog while i was in the shower....the kids ran to tell me but it was so surreal to hear... I got dressed and just went and looked at the dog . I didn't know what else to do..... I finally drove him to the vet with a neighbors help. It was like I was planning my own dayum funeral..... yeah, you study what they say buddy..... It was supposed to happen yesterday but the vet wanted to give the cat one more day to see how it was doing. She's a 15 year old domestic calico cat. She HATES me (she actually belongs to my sister, but I've been keeping her the last 12 months). I knew that she would die on me. I knew that I would be the one who had to stand with her while they put her to sleep. I just wasn't expecting it so soon. And even though I've owned pets all my life, I've never been present when they've passed away. This one will feel so perverse to me .
Like she's dying by my own hand. Like I've been given some unnatural power over her. And it's unfair that she has to be given a send off by a man she hates rather than her own mommy
