I tried smoking once when I was in 2nd grade. My friend's mother smoked and we would steal her cigs and ack all grown. But my mom found out and gave me one of the worst beatings in my life. So, needless to say, it curbed my interest in the cancer sticks. Besides I'm highly allergic to all smoke which aggravates my allergies and asthma.

As for drinking, I'm a casual drinker, love mi mojitos and Ketel One Citron martinis. But I rarely drink, maybe once or twice a month and I typically have a 2 drink max. Years ago I was a waitress in various nightclubs and seeing drunk ass motherfuckas every week REALLY turned me off from liquor. But you're right, Chocolate1, shoes are a MUCH better use of funds than cigs or booze.

Girl, when I was a waitress I had regular customers that would come to the club on Thurs, Frid, and Sat, almost every week and spend $100 or more each day, and this was 10 years ago. You'd be surprised how many functioning alcoholics are out there.

I swear cigarettes are just that stink to me! When I get in my elevator and can smell the smoke from someone who was in there smoking, it feels like i'm gonna have an asthma attack.....and I don't even have asthma!

I hate the smell too. In 7th grade, I used to go to school daily with a 'contact' high because the seniors must have each had their own joint until one day the principal boarded our smokey bus.....

I used to smoke cigarettes. It was a hard habit to break. I still after all this time keep nicotine gum in the house because I am scared that I'll relapse. I like to drink. And I am not a drunk so I have no fear of getting liver problems or whatever. I'll take the booze, thanks. Plus I don't smell like an ashtray after drinking.
