funny how a thread like this about smoking/drinking pops up every few months.....same same.....oops, time for my cigarette-break!

I'm sorry. That's only the second time I've heard it referenced that way. The first time was when I was 15. My family and I were camping in the woods outside of Crescent City. The entire trip was a nightmare. I'd gotten in a huge blowout with my dad--the worst fight we've ever been in. Once they saw the state I was in (mascara down my cheeks) and the outfit I had on (tie-dye shirt, hemp drawstring pants, Birkenstocks), they slowly backed away.

The wife said something to the husband about what might be wrong with me and the husband, without even attempting to be quiet, said "She must be on the pot". Instantly, I felt better.

Anyway, I don't drink much anymore. Never smoked. Enjoy a mild contact high every now and then, and I'll stop here before I say something I'll regret in five minutes.

I have to say that pulling bongs doesn't mess you up as much as Alcohol can.

id rather have a partner that smokes than drink so I wont have to deal with the craziness of drinking. However bad breath is a turn off (smoking.....and drinkin 4 that matter).

I've done both and 1 is as bad as the other.

There are supposed to be certain benefits when it comes to red wine and vodka, but you're not supposed to drink the stuff like water.

With weed there are certain benefits(eating it or using a vaporizer rather than smoking)depending on the type and quality of the herb, but again it's not something you should be doing every hour of the day. Some people with certain conditions find that the herb does more for them than the poisons their doctors have them on.

People have to remember that over the counter things are DRUGS, and before they existed there was brandy or herbs that we smoked or made tea with.

Drinker here but one thing I HATE about my fellow drinkers is their inability to control their shit Don't get too drunk, know your limits, & for the love of shoes DO NOT HURL When drinkers get stupid, they make the potheads so much more appealing

I liked pot waaaaay better, but it was bad for my social skills.

Pot gave me insight into myself and into the world, but alcohol has led to more fun & interesting experiences.
