My best friend's wedding, it rained all day long..and not light rain, heavy gross rain. All her pics ended up being inside the church. Proud Memaw to Seyhan Olivia Christine ,Zoey Cirilo Jaylee & Ellie Abigail Lillian

In your case that will be tough not really, she's hot stuff Hi ZombieKitten, I just checked out your stuff on flickr. Your work is pretty phenomenal! I should think you are going to ace this wedding with no problem whatsoever. What lens are you using for the portrait shots with your husband? Nothing I'm taking on my D70 is even remotely that good

Zombie...congrats on your photography job...its wonderful to have a job where you get to be around folks when they are celebrating. (Just be careful and try to dodge the bridezillas) Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Let your creative eye shine instead of the sun. You don't need sunshine for folks to smile and have a good time in the moment!

I'm picturing Charlotte walking around with a big shiny eye, beaming it at people and pointing a camera at them. That would look really weird. The Normal Whores Club

Good luck, Charlotte ...
Oh, and one piece of advice: you HAVE to be in charge, speak up, order people around. Relatives and friends who are supposed to be getting photographed with the bride and groom will be wandering all over the place, looking for drinks, shooting the shit with one another lol...hopefully the wedding's small and that won't be too much of an issue.

Managing the people is 90% of the gig I'd also recommend renting some additional lighting with some reflectors, it'll save your ass with everything being indoors.

I haven't been to a rainy one. But I went to one where it started so late it that it was too dark outside for photos so they had to move inside. That was crazy. And I went to another one where it was windy as hell. The bride's veil flew off into the water.
That was kinda funny. But the weddings were still very nice and the photos actually turned out gorgeous. You'll do a fine job I am sure.

My inner bossy boots came out last night my husband could NOT believe how I ran the show The ceremony and reception were pretty much shot in pitch darkness, so really not a lot I could do there available light was not even enough with ISO 1600. Won't see how shots came out until my computer is back from repairs, next week sometime Thank you everyone
