I also have to finish making the lamp shades for the dining room - they will match the pillows on the couch.

And don't even get me started on what needs to be done in my bedroom. I just painted it and hate the colour so I have to start over.

My room was a hideous purple so I wanted to tone it down a bit, so I painted it gray...but now I realize that it needs to be a gray with a more brown/purple tint to it. It needs to match the fabric headboard of my bed.

Depending on the situation I think your old TV may be fixable. If it still has picture and the color is just off, it may have only lost the ability to process specific colors. Without getting into how TVs work, it could be an easy fix.

For your new TV, I have not found a sharper picture than from a DLP TV. Everyone is into the fad of being able to hang a TV on the wall, but DLPs are getting much slimmer and the picture is excellent. Plus they are cheaper.

Yes, he was fine. It didn't fall on him but he was told very explicitly that he was very lucky that he didn't hurt himself and to never touch the tv again.
