10 1/2 means 10 1/2-- it always fits. you might go up to a size 11 for dress shoes...but you pick your shoe, pay for it and leave.


women:

ugggh..you gotta try it on 7, 7 1/2, 8 and 8 1/2. then you gotta try it on in 3 different colors. then you gotta try on the other style of shoe because you just can't make up your mind yet. then you gotta go match it to your outfit. then you gotta wonder if the heel is too high or too low. then you pay for it. and then you ask the return policy. and then you bring them back and start all over

sometimes i'll see some guy wearing a pair of cute shoes and i'll think "hey, i should go get something like that!" but when i go to the shoe store, it's like all the inspiration flows right out of me. all i see are a bunch of little ugly overpriced husks for my feet, and i'm left wondering WHY exactly we're expected to spend money on these things.

i've gotten a little better about it, but i still fail to see how anyone can be passionate about shoes unless maybe the shoes you're wearing are on fire or someone is throwing shoes at your head.

My sweetie likes to go shoe shopping with me. I let him pick out some of the things I try on...and ask his opinion on the stuff I pick.

In fact, he picked out the shoes I wore when we went to 3121 in Vegas. They killed my feet...but he liked them, so...

As my grandma says, "Beauty must suffer."

I wear the same size in every shoe. If it feels funny I'll try a different size, but that's really rare.

Okay... but we look better in our shoes than you guys do
