I'm telling you, hundreds of women were falling all over me. Mike Myers is a genius.
I will never wear another Halloween costume other than Austin Powers.

Halloween???
You mean Purim, right? It was Purim this week, not Halloween.

Give it 10 - 15 seconds to load. There are several pictures; feel free to scroll. Hell, buy a few - it'll help out my buddy John. With a tinge of sadness, I am returning the costume today at lunch.

Looks like you had great fun. LOL, it was at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We put on this skit before the poultry auction. We raised about $1.1 million this year. You haven't lived until you've seen someone pay $150,000 for a chicken! We had a ton of fun. Thanks for looking!

Although, it varies by city. In West Texas/East Texas/South Texas/Fort Wroth, you hats all the time, in all socioeconomic spectrums. In Houston, you see them in a lot of places, and EVERYWHERE when the rodeo is in town. Austinites only wear cowboy hats if they think it's the trend. And then, the hats they wear really don't qualify as cowboy hats. People in Dallas NEVER wear cowboy hats. Dallas should seceed from the state, because they do everything they can to shed their Texas heritage and roots. It's like they'd rather be Chicago or even Seattle.

You would look fantastic in a real cowboy hat. Black, with a shiny rhinestone band.

Oh man, it was! People I'd known for 20 years didn't know that was me (but weren't surprised when they found out it was me). It has taken me 10 years to fully appreciate the genius of Mike Myers. Austin Powers is the bomb!

I think the Austin Powers costume is the only one I know that *anyone* can wear and look totally like the real thing. Everyone - man or woman - that I see wearing it is the spitting image.

Nah, I'm talking about a REAL cowboy hat, not an overgrown taco shell:

I had this buddy wearing a high-blocked cowboy hat and he was giving this other friend of mine the business. The second guy paused, looked the first guy up and down, then said, "Did you get some taco meat with that hat?" Funniest thing I'd ever heard.
