how often would you say that people in serious relationships / married should be having sex? i know once you have been with someone a long time things slow down. is once a week not enough after say five years? is there such a thing as too much?

I don't think there's a problem if you're getting it at least 2 or 3 times a week when in an established relationship, especially considering folks are often very busy with work and whatnot, though I think once a day or every two days is good going for married folks. Personally speaking, in my relationship it seems to go in phases. We might go as much as 10 days without, then have sex at least once every day for a week.
