There are alot of things like this that annoy me, but I REALLY hate that no matter how many times I correct her my mom pronounces Jalapeno as "Jall-a-pen-gos"

i try to remember not to omit the "t" from "often" but um, offen it slips my mind.

My pet peeve are broadcaster that cannot say "president". Many of the right-wing nut jobs foam so much at the mouth that they pronounce it "present". Michael Reagan is the worst offender, and his dad WAS "present".

If someone else has already ragged on this, then mods, go ahead and lock this thread.
