OH YEAH!!!! As you may or may not know I recently got a job working at a Good Humor-Breyer factory. We make Klondike bars and stiff. Chances are, if you've eaten a Klondike bar it came from this factory.
Anyway, I got my first paycheck and it feels SO good. It's my first job, and it's really tiring (I work from ~5PM to ~4AM), but for $10.64, you better believe I'll pack those Klondike bars!  Anyway I just wanted to brag because I got my first paycheck ($380.70!), and I just spent $50 on Amazon.com. A waste, sure, but I'm 18, and this is my first paycheck. It feels good to have my own money.Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together | |

The first few, I'll probably spend, but eventually, I'll just save it. There's not much I want. Plus I have to help with the rent and stuff now. My next paycheck will be $760 or so. I want a few CD's and some musical equipment, but after that,it's just oging into savings. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together | |

OMG I love Klondike bars  I keep packs of them in my freezer.  I have a thing for Amazon.com as well, at one point I had to back away for awhile cause I was ordering something every week.  | |

I saw this on TV the other day, I don't know if it is the correct link, but check it out anyways. Basically it says if you save $100 a month beginning at 18 until age 58, you will eventually have a million dollars. Interesting to know, wish I would have saved more when I was younger, or at least knew of this idea when I was 18, something to think about

It just rocks when you start getting your own money!!! Make sure you save some, splurge a little. Never get a credit card that you are not willing to pay off in full at the end of the month. Enjoy!!  | |

Credit cards are a no no for me. I've seen them cause way too many problems for other people. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together | |
