so what gets your MOJO runnin'?

it's ten to 2am.
i'm writing an essay.
and it's really not as engaging as i thought it would be

-however- one of the artists i'm writing about really had me going with some of her photography... my room mate was downstairs here talking to me about random stuff and i just really got excited and started firing off my mouth to her about an artist she had no clue of lol
i just felt so passionate about this ONE picture.. i couldn't contain it - needless to say i got an expression of hmm followed by a hah!

so art pretty much get's me going - almost effortlessly (and i do suppose in more ways than one)
i mean there are more things, and i suppose if this thread does actually survive this arbitrary abyss we call the .org, i'll post more...

but enough about me

what turns you on?
what gets you excited?
what gets your mojo running?

i'm obviously aware of the sexual overtones of the question but let's try and think outside the box... shrug

annnnnd, back to my essay - GO!
...the little artist that could...

To me; art, music, vocalists (people like Sam Cooke, Prince, Maria Callas), graphic novels, books, writers, architecture, nature, emotions/people/animals/friends/lovers.

These are ALL things that at one time moved me to tears. All these things have moved me beyond my own borders and expanded my universe.

And silly, as I drifted towards the saem things you all mentioned in your posts, I last, but not least, had to mention emotions/friends/aninals/people/lovers, as these also expanded my universe in ways I never thought possible.

I don't know where my mojo went, but today it came back with a vengeance eek

I've been labouring over this logo design since last year (got a client who said "no hurry" and every now and again asks how it's going) and tonight I designed a logo that I think is the best one I ever did!!! Award winning in my own eyes love

the client better love it too, or I'm sending my boys round mad

natural light
peace

Reading is a salvation for me. If I couldn't read, I'd probably go nuts. I find it relaxing and I love to learn about different cultures and other people's lives. I read about 50 books a year and I wish I had even more time for it.
