"Square pegs! Square pegs! Square pegs! Square pegs!" Actually, even though I watched it, that's pretty much all I remember from the show. Wow, I really am getting old!

Wow, I really am getting old! i remember DEVO was on one episode, and i remember tracy nelson had a sheena easton mullet and wore a red blouse with puffy shoulders and it buttoned up like a cowboy shirt in the front. other than that, i've chewed on too much tin in my life to remember any more specifics.

I didn't even remember Tracy Nelson was on the show! i think the only reason this thread isn't totally on fire right now is because most of the people who were alive when this show was on the air are either no longer with us or else they are not allowed to use computers at the nursing home.

Anx, I wouldn't go that far now . Let's just say that this thread is only for the grown & sexy people who lived, rocked, and went through their teens & 20's in the 80's. Sounds better anyways & doesn't make any of us thread participants seem too old .

Whew, it's funny how they think of 40 as being over the hill. I'm at the Mid point of the 30's highway and you wouldn't know it just by looking at me. After growing up watching people like Tina Turner and Jack Lalanne, I would say that 40's being over the hill is a misnomer. Age is only a state of mind. Its all about keeping in shape: mind, body, and soul. [Edited 3/17/08 21:11pm]

[Edited 3/17/08 21:11pm] oh, for sure. i know people well into their 50s who still look like they're in their 30s, and on the other hand i know people who are barely in their 30s who look older than i do. age is totally relative. i believe we wear the age we think we are inside.

Oh so true. Basically, in life, we're given one body and life the way our we lives reflects the toll we put on it. So, everything we do to it counts good or bad. And for those who have already been on a destructive course and/or have succomb to their destructive habits or ways, I feel for them. Like the saying goes, Life can be a bitch, so make a damn good one.
