Have you ever been almost sick?

This sucks. I'm not really sick, but I'm not well. There's some stupid virus that has upset my tummy and given me about a 1/2 degree fever, complete with near-chills.

I'm not sick enough to go to bed, but I don't really feel like doing anything.

Tomorrow morning, I'm going to hit the gym and work it out of my system through sweat and torture.

Since Friday I have felt completely worn out and when I wake up I feel like I've been hit by a train. All over body aches. I slept 10 hours each night this weekend (sooooo not like me) and yesterday I don't think I felt fully awake all day. I have maybe a bit of a slight fever here and there, but other than that, no symptoms.
So I'm going back to bed now. lol

Yes I feel like that all of the time. I have allergy and sinus issues. I have been told that I have a pretty strong immune system which must be true because I have been around some sick ppl and kids lately and have not caught it. I just tend to feel feverish, almost sick and very run down.

I have not had the flu or a major cold in many years... I just feel on the verge a lot.

I had an extreme headache on the verge of a migraine with obstructed vision but it faded luckily and now I am left with a dull headache and sinus issues.

I think I would rather just get a major cold for a few days and be done with it.
mad

I hope you feel better Rodeo hug

You shouldn't be working out if you want to fight it off effectively. Exercise temporarly suppresses the immune system.

Well, I got sicker than I was when I first posted this, so I didn't go work out.

I can see what you're saying. There have been a handful of times where I've gotten flu-like symptoms the after working out for the first time after a layoff.

I guess I need to load up on the vitamins.

BTW, I feel better now and am going to work out like a banshee this afternoon.

The thing that annoys me at my gym is they have big video screens with various programmes on, but the sounds muted and they play generic dance music instead.

Same at my downtown gym! That's why I take an iPod with me.

My neighborhood gym has no TVs but they have a good stereo. Sometimes I have to change the channel back to the classic rock station, though.

yeah I need to get a 'workout' playlist because everytime a slow song comes on I want to sit down, and when a radiohead song comes on I want to lie down...
