I need help with this. I know it all sounds really stupid.

I get involved with these guys that are lacking in so many ways except I find them exceptionally hot. So they get away with everything with me.

I often meet my friend's interests and think...he's not cute, why is she with him? But of course they are great people and that's why.

But I can't seem to get passed looks. I am definitely dating someone's looks and not their personality.

And obviously it's not working for me.

I am MADLY falling for somebody right now. The past 2 weeks have been blissful, and we've talked at length. One thing I can say for sure, is that despite me finding this person attractive, it's all about personality. It trumps EVERYTHING.

Falling for somebody just for looks, which I've done before, was always about self-worth to me. It felt that I DESERVED this or that level of person with regards to looks. At my age, self-worth is really something I should have had to begin with, and wanting someone who has sweet attributes regardless if they're a model or eye candy, is far more important.

I love beuatiful people. I always have. They give me inspiration to get in they gym and to keep myself up, or to get back in shape. But they don't make me happy.

That's not to say I wouldn't shag the shit out of rushing07, newpower99, Threadcula, Fauxie, Monigram, Jess, Jerseykrs, SpoolyMuffin, pardonme4livin, Ocean, Anxiety, CarrieMpls, Stax, Statuesque, Dancewme, VoicesCarry, and a few dozen other people though. It just means, looks , ultimately, really aren't all that to me anymore.
