Poison New drugs - You see the commercials all the time, the crap really is like Chris Rock said, they're always trying to CREATE diseases and pull in USERS.
Diet drugs - It's crack or borderline meth. The commercials look like they're made by some high school AV class. I'm amazed it's legal for the stuff to be sold. And they don't even help people lose weight, all they are is tweaked caffeine really(most of them), so you don't eat less. You eat just as much if not more, only you eat it faster. Super duper Caffeinated drinks - It's crack. Bodybuilder powders(and some energy bars/powders) - Bye bye liver and heart Soda, candy - your weight in sugar Diet soda/candy - you might as well be licking the ground Fast food - used to be pretty bad, now even worse as they're being forced to make stuff "healthier" by putting god knows what in there, and while many are dropping prices others are following and of course have to cheapen their products with again who knows what Regular old fruits and veggies grains lean meat - loaded with all kinds of shit, a hormone and chemical cocktail Homegrown stuff - what you want, but what very few have access to Beware of doctor advice. Some are thinking about you, but with the expense of actually being a doctor many feel the need to con you into taking shit you don't have to...that and some of them are just evil fucks Solving certain health problems may be as simple as drinking or eating certain natural things and cutting others out of your diet. Get to know small-time local farmers and try to avoid all the cancer-causing shit being thrown at you. A little junk is okay, but... Oh and that product you throw on your face or in your hair, or spray around your home, or that common device you use...read up on it Things aren't much different than any other era with companies not really giving a damn about people's health, only now we have access to a lot more information, so we shouldn't end up like so many people in the 50s - 80s.

Hence my goal at shopping at more Kosher or culturally specific markets that for whatever reasons, they have mandates on what types of foods are available. It does a serious number on the pocketbook especially with everything going up as fast as it is but perhaps in the long run it's better.

Basically, you want as few degrees of separation between you and and the people who produce what you eat as possible. Know the people who grow it, if you can.
I take no medications...except for an occasional OTC antihistamine or pain reliever. And I think that's almost directly attributable to the way I eat. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

So I guess my multiple starucks on ice is bad? oops! Not really...I'm talking about all those Red Bull crack in a can beverages that are also packed with loads of suger. Having a nice black iced or hot coffee with no sugar is actually supposed to be pretty good for you, so if anything slowly use less of the cream and sugar.

Don't dismiss the local farmers. Really if you ask around you probably know at least one farmer. It would be hella cheap to buy stuff off them. You just have to find someone good that you trust.

Ya know what? You can't be paranoid about all this crap. I don't want to live to be 135. If I want a hamburger dad gammit I'm gonna eat a hamburger! It gets real expensive to eat all organic and what not. I'm not gonna eat McDonalds everyday, or drink diet soda everyday or take diet pills, or drink coffee with a gallon of splenda in it. Moderation is key.

It's strong as hell, but some days I need to go back to work after my kids have gone off to bed, and that is the only thing that keeps me upright and somewhat alert.

It's not really about paranoia so much. Just look around you at the people in your life and their health. If you can live comfortably in every way and lessen the chances of having serious health problems I'd think you'd want to...if nothing else you'll look better for longer veggies are cheaper than nips and tucks
