And the Chargers also won't be the first to host their own Super Bowl, technically. The 49ers did that when they beat Miami in Stanford (bout 20 min. south of San Francisco)

EAGLES v Chargers in the Super Bowl..

I like that, it sounds good to me...

the Eagles are certainly doing their part,
runnin' thangs in the NFC East:

3-0 in the division
4-0 in the conference!

with the new division alignment, division games are CRUCIAL because if you don't win your division.. you might not make the playoffs..!

yeah, we're in 1st place..
& we haven't had a thoroughly convincing victory since we
STOMPED the 'boys..
fear not:
we're about ready to make that "Championship run" that the best teams make at this time of the season..!

GO EAGLES.
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Felt..

the Pack has a good squad, Favre is a great QB, but really, he is all they have on offense (damn, that's almost enough!)

when I look at their schedule, I see at least 2 more losses this season; the Pack is NOT a 15-1 team this year.

That "frozen tundra of Lambeau Field" doesn't apply to the Eagles.. Philly in January is almost as cold as Green Bay, & with that SHITTY surface in the Vet, they'd probably rather play elsewhere..

question:
when the pocket collapses or an all-out blitz comes..
who has a better chance of
GETTING OUT OF THE POCKET
& making a big play?
#5
or
#4
?

BE HONEST!

I guarantee you the Eagles would trade McNabb for Brett anyday of the week (even with the age difference).

Look at the Eagles record because they are lucky they are in a poor division otherwise they may not even be making the play-offs.

I think it's time for you to be honest.

As far as Favre being the only thing the packers have on offense have you forgotten about a man named Ahman Green. Really your statement seems to hold true to the Eagles more then the Pack.

This is the truth.
Also potent on Green Bay's offense are our wide receivers...they are the best 1 2 and 3 on a team right now, despite their lack of noteriety.

Our defense sux against any running attack because of a weak linebacking squad, but our D-line is sack happy and a healthy secondary will prove lethal to any opposing passing game.

you-
& the rest of the non-believers-
are soon going to see WHY McNabb is now the highest-paid player in football..

like I said, Favre is a GREAT QB..
but he's maxed out, in terms of how much farther he can develop as a QB.

McNabb is still on the way up.

The Pack is LUCKY Favre can play at all now, after that nasty shot he took from the 'skins. You really need to be on your knees that Favre stays healthy. If he's out for any period of time-
season over.

Duce Staley is a better back than Green, & to compliment Duce, we have 1 of your former backs who can still do the job.

The NFC East this year really is more like the NFC "least," but the NFC East has a better composite record than the NFC North. Barring a TOTAL COLLAPSE by the Pack, there is no way they WON'T win their division- they have NO COMPETITION this year. In our division, the G-men or the 'skins
m i g h t
be able to make a run to contend for a wild card spot..

you want a piece of the Eagles in January???

be careful what you ask for...

Favre is having one of his best years ever so far, my friend, he's the NFC's highest ratest passer and is #1 contender for league MVP in the polls as of late.

I was almost with you until this statement. Just check the numbers over the last few years. After reading a statement like this I'm convinced that you are an Eagles fan, but not really a fan of the NFL because there isn't anyone (outside of Eagles fanatics) who would say that Duce is better then Green. Has Duce ever been to a pro-bowl? Will he make it this year?

Ahman Green is averaging 106.7 rushing yards a game and 26.2 receiving yards a game and has 5 touchdowns.

Duce Staley is averaging 72.4 rushing yards a game and 35.9 receiving yards a game and only has 3 touchdowns.

The numbers do not lie.

Ahman Green is two years younger tha Staley and amazingly fumbles less (alhtough this is known as Green's weakness).

I believe that the point has been made.

OK, maybe I need to re-think my stance on legalizing drugs. I LOVE Favre, I think he's fantastic - but I'll grow breasts before that trade ever happens, Have you gone MAD? Nobody would EVER make a trade like that. McNabb and Micheal Vick are single handedly revolutionizing the role of quarterback in the NFL. What you will see in the next 10 years is a complete shift in the way the position is played and the phasing out of the Dan Marino/Drew Bledsoe type of immobile quarterback.

Donovan McNabb is the closest thing to a one man show that the NFL has ever seen and Vick is not far behind - roughly where McNabb was 1 or 2 years ago. Favre is a sure fire Hall of Famer who's a treat to watch and one of the few QB's around who can actually make the OTHER players on his team better, as opposed to the other way around, but I wouldn't trade McNabb for him if you threw in Ahman Green as a bonus, and neither would any other GM in pro football.

And BTW, I retract my prediction if McNabb goes down.
