I still have my ps1 and it still works. i still like my ps2 as well, and there's really no reason for me to upgrade. maybe if there were more games that i actually felt compelled to want, but there really aren't. the next game i'm looking forward to is lego batman, and i'm sure that'll be available for ps2 (at least it BETTER).

Not true. Companies may not be cranking games out for it like they used to, but new titles are still being released. As long as the PS2 is still selling, games will be made.
