Have You Heard About The Rumored "Creepy Gnome" That Is Supposedly Terrorizing South America?

Don't know if this is true or not, but supposedly, this "gnome" was seen several times.

A town in South America is living in fear after several sightings of a 'creepy gnome' that locals claim stalks the streets at night.

The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters.

Teenager Jose Alvarez - who filmed the gnome - yesterday told national newspaper El Tribuno that they caught the creature while larking about in their hometown of General Guemes, in the province of Salta, Argentina.

He said: "We were chatting about our last fishing trip. It was one in the morning."

“I began to film a bit with my mobile phone while the others were chatting and joking."

"Suddenly we heard something - a weird noise as if someone was throwing stones."

"We looked to one side and saw that the grass was moving. To begin with we thought it was a dog but when we saw this gnome-like figure begin to emerge we were really afraid."

Jose added that other locals had come forward to say they had spotted the gnome.

He said: "This is no joke. We are still afraid to go out - just like everyone else in the neighbourhood now."

"One of my friends was so scared after seeing that thing that we had to take him to the hospital."

Apparently, one of the teenagers who spotted this "gnome" recorded it using his cell phone. Real or not, it's kinda creepy! boxed

It's not that creepy, it's just the context. I ondr if he was less of an outcast and people would allow him integrate if his behavior would be different...

When I was a young adult I used to live in South Beach in the late 80's early 90's...I swear by GOD, there was a private club in the basement of the Waldorf Hotel where you could go hear piano jazz with this blond ex-model draped over a piano in leftover Halston who looked like a drag queen, and then this man who looked like a Rocky Horror character who used to channel Billie Holiday in his music, and then this kinda rose seller type dude that would show up with a tiny person (I hate the words midget and knome) on his hip. He always had the little man dressed in a 3 piece disco suit with shiny baby shoes on. I don't know if it's because he looked like a doll or what, but people (usually drunk fashion models) used to take turns balancing this little gnome person on their hips and slow dancng with him and spinning him around during these jazz sets...it was like something out of a David Lynch movie that would initially freak you out,but then you got used to seeing him and accepted that even though he was little, he deserved to be in the middle of the party like anyone else....it was a bit weird and unsettling at first, but at the end of everything he was a fixture in this already odd setting like any adult-sized person. He was embraced, and embraced us back in return, 3 piece polyester suit, baby shoes and all lol
