Personally, I would go back to three times/places:

1. The two times my daughter sang with Prince, and the one time I did
2. Any time before August 23, 2001 so I could tell my parents how much I love them again
3. The day I met my wife, just to see her for the first time again

Historically, I would go back to:

1. Any time before Jesus' death, just for a chance to meet him
2. Right before Patient Zero had purposeful, non-protected sex and started the AIDS epidemic, so I could save a lot of lives

I don't want to go back.

Both would be great, although I think the 1930's and 40's could be great in the right places, even though there was some quite heinous things going on then. It also seems to be an older version of what gave birth to those scenes in the 60's & 70's.

Can't think of anything that had me depress over something i caused other than hiding a lady in the closet for someone else and my girl showed up!! Maybe also letting my last girlfriend leave for Texas without stopping her and was my fault partially she went cause i didn't called her for a week after an argument!! Those 2 things depressed me for a while and wish i can go back in time and change!! At least one of the two!!

I would want to go back to the mid-late 1970's and see how my family was at that time. Plus, get to see what NYC was like then too. Go to Studio 54 or CBGC's. I'd like to see what I was like as a baby. I'd go to the 80's too. I'd love to relive some of the best parts of my childhood.

I went one further....my 5th grader had to do a little report on her ancestry (they were studying immigrants) and I told the teacher we were not immigrants. m Crazed woman tried to tell me that everyone had to be immigrants and then said that so my daughter can "participate", my daughter should pick an immigrant family member. I said hell naw...the school needed to be more inclusive and respectful of our heritage. The teacher agreed and my daughter she brought in all this stuff about her heritage and told the truth....the whole truth....and nothing but the truth. (I did tell the teachers before hand that she aint gonna sugarcoat nothing, and to brace themselves....). Afer what turned out to be an hourlong presentation...including the question and answer session my little girl had with her peers, my little girl certainly helped birth some historians interested in civil rights. Their waspy parents probably fell over during dinner. My girl was later invited to speak to other classes in the school, and we arranged for a descendant of a Tuskegee airman to come in and address the class about social injustices.
