I just sent back 2 pairs of boots b/c while they fit the basic criteria (I want a knee high pair of cream leather or suede, & a charcoal grey suede boots) they didn't make me NUTS & I know I'll hate them within months. But once I buy a certain kind of shoe I'm done w/ that kind (i.e. I don't have 20 different pairs of black pumps). I get one that I like & stick with it so I don't have to feel bad when I keep adding to the collection b/c they're all different. Now if I could just get the right boots!

Black pumps: I believe that not every style shoe looks right with every outfit, so I'll keep buying to fit the purpose.

That's awesome to do when you're able (multiple pairs of the same shoe) The most I can have of a black high heel shoe is a regular pump, a peep-toe, a strappy sandal, a shoe & some boot variations I gotta be done w/ black high heels (sneakers & flats are always separate) until a pair wears out. At least I try to stick to that

Then again I'm up to 4 pairs of black boots but all different styles, so I guess I do it to a small degree. But I officially cannot have another pair of black boots! Unless they're above the knee

In my Study Skills class, we start off the mornings with "Word of the Day" to build vocabulary, then "Shoe of the Day" where we unveil the day's date. Even the boys get into it!

I'm considering the following pairs but I'm not quite sure how I feel about them. What do ya'll think?

I like them in the taupe. The red kinda looks like they have a "purpose" IMO.
What is the occasion? I know I could never wear those to work, so I don't know where I'd wear them.
