All number 1s in the Final 4. I was really pulling for Davidson to fuck everyone's brackets up even more. Mine got shot to hell when Georgetown lost. I had them in the Final 4. Texas & Xavier too. I was trying not to go for the obvious and put all number 1s in there. It should be exciting though. With the exception of the Kansas-Davidson game, the other games were pretty boring.

I do have the Tarheels winning it all in my main bracket though. I think my other two brackets are better than my main one. My other two are at ESPN and I'm gonna have to retrieve my password via email, because I usually just have it set to automatically sign me in, but for some reason I can't remember my password right now.

I mean....damn.....Kansas is really rattling my boys and they aren't recovering.

I have seriously have not seen Carolina go out like this since Doherty was coaching them. Doherty was the worst coach in history...And I had to be in school during his "reign". He was fired what, only two years after he started coaching.

It is interesting to note that Roy Williams used to coach Kansas before he took the Carolina gig in 2002.

Perhaps they are calling this game a payback for him leaving that team.

Got a last minute hook up from a friend that works for the NCAA. Yeah, this is my first final four. I came to San Antonio for NBA All-Star weekend years ago and that was tons of fun. Reminds me a lot of that time.

Last night was awesome, especially the Memphis game. The energy at college games is way better than NBA games and I really didn't have a team I was absolutely pushing for, but I definitely wanted UCLA and NC to lose. I hate foregone conclusions in sports. And let me tell ya, all these folks from NC look sooooo sad. (Sorry, Kat )

The Riverwalk was off da chain there were sooooo many drunk ass people but still great atmosphere. Since there are no games today, I'm going back to sit my ass at a table overlooking the river, eat a truckload of Mexican food, and drink a gang of margaritas.

Oh, don't forget the NCAA Women's games are tonight. Go, Tennessee!!!

I'm telling you...Kansas had two agendas...and that was to beat the Heels and payback for Roy leaving their team and going to NC. They seriously were on a hot trail and wanted vindication way more than my boys.

Some schools have lost money by reaching the Final Four because of expenses required by the NCAA, the Dallas Morning News reported, but UCLA is not among them, according to Athletic Director Dan Guerrero.

"Our experience the last two years has not resulted in any financial loss," Guerrero said. "It isn't likely that even with the mandates that have been imposed it would result in a negative cash flow."

Oklahoma Athletic Director Joe Castiglione told the newspaper the Sooners lost $200,000 because of hotel rooms it couldn't sell at the 2002 Final Four, and Texas AD DeLoss Dodds said the Longhorns lost $113,000 on the 2003 Final Four because the school couldn't sell the mandatory 400 hotel rooms for four nights.

This year, the NCAA is requiring schools to pay for 470 rooms for four nights and 3,750 tickets, most of them in the upper levels. Schools also are required to pay for a $32,000 party in a ballroom reserved for them -- whether they want the party or not.

Yeah, we were bummed... but there's always next year!

I am really dismayed at the whole NBA practice of pulling kids after their freshman year. I guess if you're a player whose whole livlihood will BE b-ball then it makes sense - but let's face it - the NBA is not hurting for players. I really think the practice F's up college sports. I mean, for me it was nice to see all those seniors on the Xavier team who have played together for four years and built up a decent and competitive club.

I don't know... $ is the sign of the times, I guess.
