What are you thankful about today?

Every single thing there is.

I read a great book by Merlin Carrothers called "Prison to Praise". One of the great revelations he had was to thank God for everything that happened to him, good or bad.

At first, it didn't make sense. Why thank God because you had a flat tire? But as he did, he began seeing life in a whole new way.

I've adopted that philosophy, and let me tell you this: bad moods are now a thing of the past. I still get mad, but when I do, I thank God for whatever it was that made me mad, and the anger goes away instantly.

I am thankful for the way I came thru my surgery. There were concerns going in, but I made it thru without complications. I was sitting here thinking about it the other day, and just started crying.

I am thankjful for each day with my Mom even with her mental ness

I am thankful for my Dad, my best freind

I am thankful for allowing myself to let my daughter be one of my many role models

I am thankful that a black man might be my president one day. It will be sooooo nice to have a President who is secure with his penis size.

I am thankful that time heals everything.

I am thankful that I have someone I can tell everything to, and not feel judged or ashamed.

I am thankful for a sexy friend of mine who makes me smile often.

I am thankful for having met several of you, some of whom I will carry to my grave as friends.

I am thankful for moments out on the water with my kayak absorbing the wonder of it all.

I am thankful for having a good boss.

I am thankful for being overpayed, so I can pay off my damned debts.

I am thankful for the way I think. I could never imagine NOT being able to think outside the box--it would be like a death sentence.

I am thankful so goddamned much right now it's not even funny. I really am in a place where I am so truly blessed and thankful.

I am thankful for my new job i started within the company i work for MAKING OVER 3100 MONTHLY AFTER TAXES GOING BACK TO MY NORTHWEST AIRLINE MECHANIC DAYS! Thankful I have not been sick since 1996!! Thankful just because!!

I'm thankful for hope. I'm thankful for some sense of peace. I'm thankful for the confidence and strength and independence I've been building for the last year or so and that it's kicked into high gear, finally. I'm thankful for the opportunities that lay ahead of me. I'm thankful that I'm losing weight. I'm thankful for my friends and family who have been there for me so much lately. They were all along, I just never accepted it or took advantage of it. I'm thankful for the past 6 years. I'm thankful for Hawaii, it's helped.

I am thankful for the little things.
