Winter has won. I give up. I can't take it anymore.
Another 40cm today. And I am stuck at work. The snowdrifts on either side of my driveway are taller than me and under all the snow is a thick layer of ice. I almost got killed as my car slid backwards down my driveway onto oncoming traffic last night. And we've got hours and hours of freezing rain mixed in with all that snow again today. I'm pretty sure I will not make it through this winter. [Edited 3/9/08 10:01am]

It was scary. The feeling of not being able to stop is awful.
I am terrified about shoveling my driveway when I get home. It's so heavy, the snowdrifts are so high so I have to toss it up really high and to make it all even more difficult, my driveway is on a steep incline so it's almost impossible to stand on it without sliding on the ice. I have already wiped out the other day. My pants are still wet to my shins from digging out my stuck car this morning.

I wish I was there. My hotness would melt the snow and your heart. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

So thats what I have to look foward to? I will be leaving these hot ass 98 degree days behind. [Edited 3/5/08 10:20am]

[Edited 3/5/08 10:20am] Yes, yes that's right. But in all honestly, I haven't seen a winter this bad here...ever.

I'm laughing my arse off cause my boss is up in Ohio, and she was saying the same damned thing
This must be an unusual winter all around up there. I know it's been strange for us too. The other week it got down to 50 the other night. And the week before, we almost had a freeze one night. Strange.

Winter is Winter. People have been spoiled with unseasonably warm weather(thanks to the Greenhouse Effect) on occasion and they forgot what real Winters are suppose to be like --Hell.

Oh please. Ain’t nobody gotta tell me that winter is winter (like that sass?).
I've dealt with winter my whole life. Lived on the east coast for 10 years where we were hammered often. And I lived in Winnipeg for a couple of years - the snow starts in October and doesn’t leave until April. And the dry frigid, cold in that area (-45 anyone?) - brutal. Believe me, I know what a really tough winter is like. But for this area, even though we normally have what most people would consider to be "hell" it's been an especially hard winter and is now officially the snowy-est winter on record for this area. And mix in freezing rain with snow and it's almost impossible to get anywhere. Even with winter tires and taking your time. I just heard that the side streets have 3 foot high areas from the snow plows.

That's crazy. Meanwhile New York City has had hardly any snow this year. January 08 was the first snow-less January in 75 years. Now I know where all our snow went.

I'll take some pics of this fun mess and will post them later!

In Dallas it snowed almost 3 inches Monday night (for the first time in over a year). Tuesday it was 60 degrees and sunny. Today it's 66 degrees and sunny. And tomorrow night it's supposed to snow again. WTF is the deal??? But I'll take this wackiness to what others are dealing with.
