does grass make you itchy?

Me and my kids get itchy red bumps from sitting or rolling on the lawn, does that happen to everyone?

Hey, yeah, I get that one too. What's with that? Do you happen to have very dry, calloused, scaley feet as well? lol

Oh yeah, I have grass allergies as well as hay fever.I get hives and my eyes itch from grass.

I have to take allergy meds to be around grass and if I try to go in the barn without my meds, first I lose my voice and then my throat starts to swell. I love being in the barn but I try to stay out as much as possible
Also allergic to some cats and dogs, not horses or birds though.

Claratin (s?) is a antihistamine (I think lol) but the Benadryl, Zyrtec, Allegra, all make him too sleepy. Walks around like a zombie if he takes the other stuff. He's also very allergic to maple tree pollen... good for me to know when the trees are in bloom. I just have him shower as soon as he comes in from out doors and that helps alot!
