Not a huge fan of David Leans work (movies are often S-L-O-W), but this typically epic Lean film is, for the artwork alone, worth a watch. It is a beautiful movie. It also has a great story, and even though it is slow and long, it is worth a watch. Its also a rarity to sympathise with a character who cheats on his wife LOL.



Trivia, girl who played the docs wife was charlie chaplins daughter. Personally I woulda stayed with her, she seemed nice enough LOL. But seriously, its not just a chick flick, but it would definately appeal to any females though.


Sad movie, and one that in some way, we can all relate to aswell (relationships that shouldn't happen but do etc...)

Worth a watch if you havn't seen it, and this coming from someone who thought he would hate it.
