Woo hoo!! I didn't know how my life would change when I joined.

If we're including the purple-on-black "version 1.0" days... it was some time in late 1998, while we were beta-testing the site and getting ready for the public launch that took place on January 1, 1999.

Before that, I joined the PML (Prince Mailing List) in August 1995, right after I arrived at college, and when the PPML (Paisley Park Mailing List -- which later became prince.org) replaced the PML, I joined on its first day.

I think I joined the PML sometime in 93 or 94 (could have been a little before that, can't remember). My first trip to Minneapolis was in '94 and I was already a PML member by then. I then migrated to the PPML and then to the .org.

It says on my profile that I've been registered for 6 years 22 days. But I was also here in the "black and purple days". I first officially joined the org in June of 2000.
