Why when idiots get a boy or girlfriend, they're stuckup

Why is it when someone gets a boy or girlfriend they act all stuckup and treatothers like they are so good and crap!! That happened to me twice yesterday. But I did get one of them yesterday when they saw me buying stuff they wanted and some one elses. They did call and apologize but I brushed them off.

actually, in all honesty I haven't seen this behavior confuse

Well, except once a girl i knew hooked up with a guy that was way beyond her league (you know that old high school matching game everyone used to play). she totally got an exalted sense of self about it. Well, until he got what he wanted in the sack and moved on. But again, this was high school.

what age group are the participants in your life?

I just hate when people change their personalities & interests for the sake of their boyfriends/girlfriends. Ugh.

I've known people who behave that way whenever they get in a new relationship, I've learned to just leave them alone...period.

I haven't seen this kind of behavior since jr. high, so I guess I'd just have to chalk it up to immaturity. shrug
