Foods you've tried to like over the years, but you realize you simply DO NOT WANT You know what I mean? It's not that certain foods make me gag and wretch to even think about them, but there are some foods that are just kind of boring and annoying and I can put up with them, but all the same it feels liberating to one day simply put my foot down and say "GUESS WHAT, WORLD? I REALLY DON'T LIKE EATING THIS CRAP!"
that said, i don't particularly care for PEAS or HONEYDEW MELON. peas are unwieldy and the taste really isn't worth the work of getting them onto a fork and into your mouth. and split pea soup is skanky. don't try to defend it. if you like it, that's on you. look at the shit. you know i'm right. if you like split pea soup, keep it to yourself. anyway, i don't like peas. i'll eat them, but why bother? and honeydew melon. it's bland, crunchy grossness that produce hacks pack into fruit salads because it's probably cheaper than the yummy kinds of melon. is anyone a FAN of honeydew melon? it's so boring. i really want to know how this styrofoam of fruit is able to make anyone's life that much more worth living. sometimes i've eaten honeydew melon and it has gotten me angry, so pointless do i think it is. nope, i really don't like this stuff. so it's your turn. come clean. what have you been putting up with all your life that you're realizing you just REALLY DON'T LIKE? (note: don't make this about your sexual preference, kthx)

While it's true that I have slept with both men and women, the numbers are very largely skewed towards women. I'm pretty sure its all about logistics and opportunity though, and the complications of each verses the overall benefits. Albeit, I don't think sexuality is rigid but more or less fluid.

I tried to eat chitlins. I had a very small taste of it and it made me gag
Lima beans-it has a smooth/dry texture like that of perhaps concrete drying. I can't deal with mushrooms-JUST SAY NO

Normally I'd agree with you but I had the TASTIEST honeydew melon recently when I was at Karen's. I had no idea it could ever BE tasty, but it was sweet and juicy and yum yum yummy! Perhaps we're all chasing for that one perfect melon... I can't think of a food I'm just done with. hmmm... maybe iceburg lettuce. I don't detest it by any means (though I certainly don't pick it up at the supermarket) and if it comes on or in something from a restaurant, I don't pick it away, but I'm just so dissapointed. Why on earth would anyone use iceburg when there are so many other wonderful green choices? |

pea and ham soup, but in your defence Anxy, it is NOTHING without the ham
Things I couldn't care less for: olives, bananas, I'm with you on the honeydew melon, and any tasteless fruit, yes Carrie! iceberge lettuce , turnips and swedes (I don't know how to make them not taste bitter.

oh, iceburg lettuce, yes. totally pointless. i can deal with it sometimes as an excuse to eat croutons and salad dressing when i have weird cravings for salad condiments, but even then my satisfaction is hardly what one could call complete.

TOMATOS!!!!!
YES, I like tomato sauce, THATS DIFFERENT! I don't want to eat some red watery sour thing...I want to throw it at the next person that tries to make me eat one. Also any kind of egg

I had to ask when I was in england. It's a particular kind of green (I think). I LOVE seeing it on menus. bubble and squeek. something and rocket. It makes me giggle every time. |

I prefer Sweet pickles over Dill Pickles on occasion. It depends on the Deli Sandwitch.
