ZombieKitten

I don't know if this fits into the thread at all dead

I had a long-time crush on this boy, and he kind of pretended he didn't notice it. Then I was going to meet his 2 friends. We sat together in a train carriage for 4 hours. After that one of the 2 other guys called me and asked me out. We went to the movies, and we bumped into the guy I had the crush on eek

Later THAT guy realised he was super-jealous and finally, after 2 years rolleyes made his move on me. His friend who had asked me out was pretty hurt, he REALLY liked me. I was then together with my crush for 5 years.

Yep.

Without knowing the specifics of your situation, I'd have a hard time with 'friends' like that.

What? You mean attractive?

giggle

But seriously, why would you be mad at your friend because someone you liked liked them instead? That's silly.

You can't lay claim on people. People can like whoever they want. lol

I am thankful that my friends and I are not like that with each other. Only once did a friend and I like the same dude. He turned me down so I was all for her going for it...he ended up turning her down as well. We both thought it was kinda funny. No competition between us at all.

I've never had that happen.

But I have had women who met friends of mine first be interested in me. And every time I've declined to get involved. It may not bother you, but I've seen situations like that break up friendships and it's not important enough to me to risk it.

Cool.

But I look at it as I don't wanna be friends with people who get upset over something so silly.

Never happened to me.
I have been the second friend, though, a long time ago. I didn't do anything. I liked my friend too much to hurt her that way. Later she dropped me as a friend to become a heroin addict. sad
Though that guy does cross my mind from time to time all these years later...

...have you met and flirted with someone only to meet their friend later ( before any substantial relationship has developed between you and the former... besides them laying "claim" to you)...and wished you had met the friend first?

(i always have a fear of not explaing myself well enough, so excuse the examples, if you follow already)

-You meet Person B... smile
-Person B semi-interests you... razz
-Person B introduces you to Person C, biggrin but makes it clear your "theirs"...

-turns out you'd rather've met Person C first sad

or...

how many times have you been introduced to a group friends who agreed that you were perfect for one particular person...only to find your more compatable with another in the group?

-You meet Persons A, B, and C... biggrin
-Persons A, B, and C have previously decided C should talk to you...(meaning your off limits to A and B)
-You talk to Person C neutral

-As you get to know all of them, you end up digging Person A more... confused

HOW DID IT FEEL TO STILL HAVE IT FOR THE FRIEND BUT NEVER SPEAK ON IT?

okay...

stories pleeez cool
