I asked the vet if it was medically necessary, would clipping his ears keep him from getting ear infections more than not clipping. He said, no..it is just a breed standard for show and AKC. So... since I was not showing him...I did not have his ears snipped. Hey Val. Just out of interest... what was your Schnauzer's temperament like?? My mate had two of them - a miniature one (which was adorable) and a giant one (which was a total SHIT. I absolutely dogs but hated that bloody mutt. Ripped a hole in my jeans with its' fangs. ). . [Edited 2/29/08 16:39pm] He was adorable, a total spaz but adorable. I miss the little bugger waking me up in the morning

Alun, let's just say that I love(d) Willie very very much.... I would never have another Schnauzer though. I am sure that not every Schnauzer is as hyper as Willie was but there were other characteristics he had that I did not care for. He was my mom's dog first but he was stressing her other Schnauzer out so much, and the whole house for that matter that she was going to take him back to the breeder. He was so adorable when he was just 11 weeks old that I decided to take him. I had him 13 long, wonderful, crazy years. I miss him everyday but I not not miss the stress and anxiety that he caused everyone around him. I am trying to decide what the best breed is for us. I miss having a dog.

It is NO LONGER routine to circumcise Baby Boys in AUStralian Hospitals anymore
The only way the hospital will do it is for Health reasons ( like if the foreskin becomes infected) and religious reasons PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

Morning Val, Morning Phil (leg humper). Yeah, I love dogs - and really, really miss not having one - but that giant Schnauzer was a BITCH. Honestly, I stopped going up my mate's house after a while (and this is one of my best friends) because of that fucking dog. He was so aggressive and my mate's family thought it was amusing. I hated it.

I hated it. Good Morning Willie was a miniature one though I did try to pet a giant one at a dog show once and it acted like it wanted to take my face off. It did seem kind of aggressive. I guess all breeds have their issues. I would love to have a pound puppy but all of the dogs here in shelters are Staffordshire terriers. I have not heard very good things about that breed.

Morning, love. I'm glad that it wasn't just me, then... And terriers can be very feisty, that's true. But, you never know - like you say, all breeds have their issues - maybe you'll find a docile one. Good luck with your search!

So whatever, it's not such a big deal as female circumcision. Now there's a barbaric practice! what is your pain tolerance threshold like? Do you get anxious if you have to get an injection? No I'm not scared of needles, and I can handle some pain. But I wasn't traumatized by it not because it wasn't painful, I was just so young I have no memory of it. [Edited 3/1/08 10:32am] My Legacy

I have heard some stories from women about snipped men and how unclean they were in a certain area. Thank goodness I never experienced it myself but still. ewwww! Trust me, when it's not clean it is just foul. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

But even if the dude was cut, he's still be a nasty ass mofo because he doesn't shower. So did a dude try to sleep with you with his stuff not clean? If I had to imagine smelly or unclean pussy, it'd probably be like an unclean, uncut penis.... Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

I was all ready to go for it 'til he got his boxers off and here was me: I even offerred to go jump in the shower with the guy, but apparently he didn't think that was necessary. Dude just wanted to go right for it. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

When you're young and you're just being manly and like "I don't need to fucking shower, I'm just gonna go get hammered for a couple days". But I would totally take a shower before I tried to get with some girl. I mean, it's not like you don't know. A serious WTF moment. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

i've never really had an opinion on circumcision. i was circumcised at birth but if i had a son, unless there were any complications i'd let it be his choice.
and i've never been with a guy who wasnt cut. i think it'd be interesting to go from a fireman to a rocket
