Stop it! You are making my mouth water. I have only liked olives since December.
Those sound yummie. I only like the green ones. I like them on pizza too.

I prefer the green ones. I'm getting into them by trying the green ones first. I really don't like the vinegar marinade.

I think the black ones are too bitter. I found some that were marinated in sunflower oil with some Greek type herbs and stuffed with feta cheese.

drool
I am slightly baffled how I could hate them and then suddenly crave them.

Have you tried dolmadas? They are lovely. The best bet is to have them quite warm with some lemon juice. I crave them all the time.

yech olives!

I don't like shellfish & lots of seafood--crab, lobster, crayfish, oysters, mussels, squid, octopus...

I tried snails once with an open mind, and the sauce was good, but we all felt pretty nauseous after one.

BBQ sauce? nod
Most red sauces for pasta, etc? nod
Tomato-based vegetable soup? nod
Tomato paste on, say, pizza? nod
Sun-dried tomatoes? nod
Ketchup, tomato soup with nothing in it or a ripe tomato by itself? omgshakeshakeshakebawlbawlbawlillbarfdead

I can't explain the inconsistency at all. One day I just could no longer bear the presence of a tomato except in certain very specific applications.

Also... liver and beets are the work of Satan -- beets especially, because they are revolting, but actually quite beautiful.

I tried them several years ago when a coworker used to bring them into work freshly made. I did not like them then so I tried them again recently over here when we were out to lunch with friends.... ewww I just can't get past the leaves.
I guess there is another one for my list.

i love dolmades, but i don't like them warm. i like them room temperature or cold. and if the rice filling has any kind of tomato sauce or flavoring, then forget it. barf i like when the rice has more of a spice/vinegar/lemon flavor. but yeah, love me some grape leaves. our local co-op has a big ass cloverfield-sized can of dolmades for like $18 and i swear to god i'm going to buy a can someday and just spend a weekend in bed, eating grape leaves by the fistful and reading jackie collins novels.

Sorry, Anxy. It's best I edited what I did, promise. lol

I used to HATE sushi until I went to Boystown, out with Ivy. My God, your sushi beats ours ten to one (at least at the sushi dives I've visited).

Foods I don't buy: most fruits. Not big on sweet food. I consume green veggies on psychotic levels, but don't crave foods like apples and oranges.

Used to LOVE green olives, but OD'd on them a few years back and now the thought gives me hives. Eat as many jars of pickled green olives (with whole garlic) as you can in a week, and you'll be off them for life too.

Brussels sprouts. They taste like tires.

Pie. All kinds, save for sweet potato. Again, too sweet.

Pancake syrup. You get the theme here.

Macaroni and cheese.

Spaghetti.

Lasagna.

90% of cheese. I avoid dairy, as it's excreted from animal teats.

Eggs. I don't eat embryos.

Most pastas, especially w/red or white sauce.

Not big on noodles (save for Asian or cheap ramen soups)

Not big on basic Italian food.

Not big on Chinese food.

I live on Indian and Mexican food, though. Need the spice.

do you like bibimbop? i loooove veggie bibimbop. it's usually served with a fried egg on top, but you can order it without. in fact, if you order veggie 'bop, they usually assume you don't want egg on top.
