I used to steam the carrots and put a little butter, brown sugar and honey on them.

Food Threads!!
~ Bananas. YEUCH. Never tried one. That sticky texture, the smell... ~ Cauliflowers. VILE. Look at 'em! People who drink cabbage juice... ~ Fish - with exceptions, I can't eat anything that looks at me. ~ Sultanas/Raisins - evil fruit. Strangely, the last few years have seen me eating loads of food that I never used to touch. Olives. Rice. Peppers. And I thought I'd be daring and bought a Dragon fruit yesterday. It's so pretty, I can hardly bear to cut it up. But it looks yummy. I bought some Physilis last week and nearly gagged, even though it was quite tasty. It was like unwrapping a cocoon and eating the contents.

Not so much honeydew but Watermelon went on my very short list last year. Such a pointless effort, drink a glass of water - same thing without the hassle of the seeds. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

The same with hummus, I used to hate it...now I eat hummus with olives all of the time now. I have also started to eat strawberries now though they still have to be with something else, I have issues with the texture more than the taste. RAISINS ARE NAAAAASSSSSTTTTYYYYY!!!!
They remind me of rabbitt turds and/or bugs. I'm actually thinking turds and/or bugs would probably taste better. Things that raisins have completely ruined: Oatmeal cookies. whatthehell do they add to an otherwise yummy cookie?? :vomit: CousCous: WHY?!?!?! what on earth would possess someone to put these vile little pests into such a heavenly treat? Bread Pudding: People who think that putting raisins in bread pudding is a good idea should be arrested. and beaten. [Edited 2/28/08 9:34am]

Tomatoes, pickles, eggs, pork, rice and beans..... I don't like
But with rice, it's not so much that I think it's disgusting, but that I was forced to eat it nearly everyday until I started cooking for myself. I'VE HAD ENOUGH! Now, I only eat it when I have plantains.
