While I have pretty much cut out what I don't like, I still come across foods I will try but simply don't care for. Unfortunately they fall in the veggie category. Spinach, broccoli and cauliflower. I'm also realizing I am not a pork fan except for bacon, but pork in general I tend to eat less and less. Oh and as much as I like the california roll, sushi is a rare moment for me these days.

Sorry I can help in the peas dept...I like them. Normally when they are in something I can control them like creamed tuna or something.

Seafood. I want to like it. I really do. I'm from Florida. Seafood capital of the US, surrounded by it, but I just can't get into it.
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

Hmmm. With raw oysters, its all a matter of your stomach being in decent mode. However, when it comes to eating these bad boys friend or with hot sauce, its a no brainer.

back in the day when i was still doing the omnivore thing, i could manage canned oysters - the texture kinda grossed me out but i didn't mind the taste. i never tried them fresh from the shell. the only seafood i used to REALLY like was crab meat, and an occasional shrimp cocktail.

The weird thing is that I am actually eating things now that I used to dislike.
I went from hating green olives to craving them almost every day now.
The same with hummus, I used to hate it...now I eat hummus with olives all of the time now. I have also started to eat strawberries now though they still have to be with something else, I have issues with the texture more than the taste.

I still HATE mushroom ill

We were served some yummie marinated olives at a holiday party and I ate them with hummus. It was so strange because I have always found them disgusting.
I really like the greek ones marinated and stuffed with feta cheese.
drool
It is the strangest thing how I crave them now.
