I don't understand why folks can't grasp the concept of bi-sexuality...why wouldn't it be possible to be sexually attracted to both men and women...I mean, it's possible to like more than one ice cream flavor, it's possible to be attracted to more than one "type" of person...so why wouldn't it be possible to truly be sexually attracted to both sexes? Does sexuality really need to be so clearly defined anyway...why should anybody really give a fuck how consenting adults get their orgasm??

...which brings me to another topic: why are there women out there who believe they can "change" a man from being gay or bi-sexual or even bi-curious? There was a time in my younger years on South Beach where I had so many girlfriends going through the "but he's just CONFUSED" scenario, and proud of it because they thought they held some sexual power/sway over a person who already expressed in no uncertain terms that they didn't want to have a vagina in their day to day life...I think I went through that from aged 16-19, figured out what the deal was, and got over that REAL quick

They go to forums where other bi sexual people are. Networking for romance is just as viable in the gay and bi-communities as it is in the hetero scene...and if one is involved in the creative arts? Good gawd, between fashion, the music industry, the fine and performing arts it's not very difficult to find those communities. Chances are, you'll probably be able to go to friends and loved ones for hook-ups, sorta similar to the way a proverbial Aunt Fran helps with a blind date in the straight community. Oddly, I am finding that age is seeming to play a factor in how people search as my friends and I all get a bit older. Up until early 30's my bi friends would be open to looking for love any way they could get it. I guess a lot of folks do this when you're young. But now,,whether they're looking for a girl or a guy, in addition to looking for a bi or bi-accpeting partner, they're tackling other issues such as a person who can handle the mortage, has the same spiritua lvalues, wants kids & animals, etc. Instead of going to find someone at "the club", they're meeting tate cute guy or girl who's an art fundraiser at their friend's invitation-for-eight dinner with Campari aperetifs.

At then end of the day,I think if you meet and share your lives with bi people, listen to them and accept where they're coming from and don't try to belittle or descecrate the truth of their reality, you find they're not any different from straights or gays in their quest to connect with others and simply need and love someone...regardless of sex

the need to assign labels, or concern with the details and specifics of the sexuality of others invariably isn't the real issue, anyway. the true concern is based in how another's sexuality affects the concerned person (even when it really shouldn't or doesn't), or reflects upon them.
