Not all women and not all bisexuals, but yeah. Genreally speaking. lol

How does the saying go? Men and women who declare themselves bisexual usually both end up with men. lol

Actually, 2 of my myspace friends are guys I knew in the military who proclaimed themselves bi-sexual.

One is married with kids now and not interested in men anymore, and the other one seems to have gone the female route, though he's too much of a ho to settle down. lol
But then again, the crowd I was around was eccentric--declaring yourself bi-sexual was rather trendy, and almost a pre-requisite to entering the crowd. Even more so than wearing cherry red Doc Martins, etc. etc. shrug

That's why I said usually. rolleyes

Of course there are exceptions. lol

And there was definitely a phase that went around when we were younger, but I think that phase continues with most people college-aged and a bit further. It's a time of experimentation.

Yup I agree. College is when it all goes down. Unfortunately I was in the military for much of my college years, so much of those 'strange twighlight' years were done in green Fatigues and Air Force blues. lol

Frat boys are nasty though. I swear, feed one of them enough beer and he'll fuck a dog. disbelief

why do most men like to hide the fact that they are bi-sexual?

Because even in 2008, it's an extremely hostile world for any man that dare consider having sex with another man. It's easier to keep those urges undercover, or to share them only with like-minded individuals.

I couldn't date a bisexual man. Haven't you seen that Sex and the City episode?

I was having this conversation with a professor at Brown the other day. I just can't see a man being bi...I'm one of the women that think if a guy claims to be bi he's just not ready to come out of the closet fully.

And I also think that bi women are just greedy sluts and want it all lol

Go ahead flame away, I'm just being honest!

I don't think folks should flame this. This is seriously what I think 90% of women think. The 10% who don't think that way are fag hagging.

I think. shrug

Well then how does a bi-sexual man find lovers of the same sex without giving himself away? "Poker night" with the buddies? How do you find the buddies in the first place?

I have said this three times in the last week about different issues but it applies here.

Labels suck. People should just be allowed to be themselves instead of being afraid of being put into a box or category.

I am amazed at the viewpoints on this so far.

I mean, talk about closed minds. It's incredible to me that this is unfathomable for so many.

It makes me wonder what else these people can't believe.

Nah, I'm not gonna flame you. I just know I'm not greedy.

lol That was an exaggeration and I'm being sarcastic.

BUT

My female friends who claim to be bisexual ARE sluts! lol They will be the first to admit it! So I just came to the conclusion that they just REEAAAALLLY like sex and want to get it on with everyone lol

Please don't take offense to that. I was being my crass self.

In the last 20 years or so, lots of men came out as bisexual cause they weren't comfortable with the gay idea yet. I'm not saying there aren't truly bisexual people, just that no woman wants to commit to a man who later on down the road says "I've been fooling myself and you, I'm actually gay". There's a reason for the skepticism.

But I think it's all up to the people involved. I would think if a man is out as bisexual and openly dates both men and women and is otherwise trustworthy, there wouldn't be a need to doubt their intentions. shrug

see???

I'm not crazy then! Women really do distrust bi-sexual men. Not because they're bi-sexual, but because their's always a prevailing thought that they are just gay and not fully coming to terms with it! woot!

I think you're right....both right, actually. EXCEEEEPT in the cases of chicks like me: the refusal to become involved with a bi-guy is more about my ego and not wanting to deal with double the competition for another's affections. It's completely juvenile on my part, but while I believe it's entirely possible for a person to authentically connect with both sexes, I don't want the added (yet embraced and expected) issue of them being able to go after Judy AND John if I'm trying to make it with them.

Additionally, for me I don't think that bi-sexual men are automatically qualified as 'just gay', rather than seeing them as 'this is a human being who needs certain physical attributes (and others) that I will NEVER be able to supply him with 100%', so why set myself up for the ineveitable failure that will eventually arrive when he needs to go out there and discover his destiny within psycho-psysiological connection of another man, his other mirror...? I think some people can work with that, but I'm not one of them. I need the focus to be all about ME, which is enough in itself with all the cute girlies out there: don't need to have the cute guys lining up around the corner too for the object of my affection. I suppose I look at the issue in a very unevolved, animal kingdom-cougarish- self-presevation kind of way err falloff
