What, exactly, is painting an unpleasant image of wealth supposed to do? I get the whole "money don't buy you happiness" angle, but the having of money does not automatically mean an individual is lacking on a deeper level. LAME. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |

it reminded me of the book- the boy in the striped pyjamas- by john boyne anyone who has read it can see that a childs perspective on things is completely different to ours as adults. even though that book is a fable- it touched me deeply- my heart still skips a beat everytime i think of it. its a shame children have to grow up

I believe that happiness is all about perspective.
We have been convinced that it lies in a romantic relationship and/or money, but I'm single and lead a very simple life now and I've never been happier.  |

I've been pretty darn happy myself lately. My new job doesn't pay as much as the old but I'm happy. I have my own house with peace of mind and though I'm single, I'm never lonely. It is so awesome. | |
