My Psych Prof is Freudian!!!! I mean, what the good fuck? Honestly!
I don't mean she leans toward psychoanalytic theory a bit or she's a big fan of the iceberg analogy, I mean she's a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool, Freudian! I thought those folk had gone the way of the dinosaur. She's a nice lady and really good teacher, but I can't for the life of me figure out how an academic -a female academic at that -can be such a staunch supporter of Freudian thought. I'd suspected since the begnning of the semester that's where her inclinations lie, but she outright announced in class this morning that's which way she swung. You should've seen the class. You could've heard a pin drop. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
