My 13-14 year old boys basketball team is 5 - 1 and dominating. We have 4 games left before the playoffs start, and we have a 2 1/2 game lead in our division.

But baseball has started up and I have FIVE baseball players (out of eight on the team). All of them - except my son - choose baseball when there's a baseball/basketball conflict. My son has no choice. My best four players are also baseball players.

We have a game in two hours and right now, I only have four players. I think I'll get a fifth and avoid the forfeit, but I can see us going 0 - 4 if my best players keep ditching me for baseball.

If that happens, no playoffs for us.

THAT, my friend, is DRAMA.
