I am hosting my daughter's baby shower this coming Saturday, and I just finished one of her gifts. It's a cake made of diapers. I hid things with in the cake, like bibs, a bottle, and some lotion.

So what do you all think? I can't believe how much there is to do with a baby shower. Now I need to come up with games for the party! Any ideas people?

Are U doing everything yourself? Theme?

I went to a shower one time where there was a "buzz word/phrase" (like "I don't know") and everyone was given a safety pin as they entered. People would try to goad others into using the word/phrase to collect each other's pins. The one with most pins at the closing of the game got a prize! It was a lot of fun, and it got people up and talking.

Another fun one is when you get a couple different candy bars and melt them in a diaper. Then your guests have to guess what the candy bar is.

The Diaper Cake is awesome. I've made one for my best friend before and it was lots of fun.

I attended a baby shower where we had a bottle race.Each participant had a baby bottle filled with milk and the person who drank the most in the alotted time won a small prize.SO much fun! That diaper cake is beautiful-she's sure 2 love it! Hope u guyz have a great time!

there is this game where you put small safety pins in a bowl with some rice. Then you blindfold the participant and they have to take out the pins. It's funny because you can't tell the difference between the grains of rice and the pins. Long grain rice works best.

We bathe our kids everyday and not make a party out of it so yes, I had to look it up
