Why else would there be a ring if not to send a message to those on the outside? Why does a man need to rob a Brinks truck in order to provide? Who said anything about robbing a Brinks truck, not I. If it's going to go there then I can think of a heck of a lot of other things besides a ring. Okay, I'm j/k. Sure a lot of women get caught up in the whole game of it, but I wouldn't say that was the average woman. For me, a more creative gesture would mean far more. It would make more sense to me if one is really going to spend that kind of money, then putting it towards, say, land/house would make more sense. Same with the wedding gifts, too.

If she finds out that it is fake, that means she went out and got it appraised which means your marriage is about a rock and not love. If she finds out and makes a stink about it, you obviously are marrying the wrong chick who is in it for anything but love. If love were the issue, then it wouldn't matter what you gave her to signify your commitment. Your commitment is action, not an object
Good luck guys! This is exactly why marriage is not necessary....it is the committment and work...that keeps relationships together. Not a rock, or a certificate! Then why is gay marriage such a hot topic when debating things like electing a president? There are many things in life that we do that are "not necessary". I think it is a matter of opinion and I value yours.

"same ring" I get it! well well, look what I found Male chastity belt is wrong for all the reasons you can think of If I encountered this... this... this instrument without the accompanying explanation, I probably think "cool armour". The fact is, just looking at it gives me the shivers. This, my esteemed readers, is a chastity belt. A male chastity belt, in that it is a chastity belt accustomed to the male form. An object certifying the virginity of a fair maiden of medieval lore it is not. On to practicalities, the Latowski CB http://www.latowski.de/la...sh/410.htm has an "Organ Chamber" for your frank n' beans to sit in, allowing you to relieve your bladder. The organ chamber is cleaned by aid of saline and syringes. In addition there's another hole at the rear... Actually, I can't go on. Just check out the website for further details while I go and scrub myself with carbolic soap. http://www.brandish.tv/20...index.html

I don't think a diamond per se is required. There's very talented jewelers, who do their own ring designs that are unique. I have a gold Turkish puzzle ring, I sometimes wear. My diamond sits in the safe mostly. I wear other rings that are smaller due to my lifestyle.

It really is that simple and if you actually knew anything about me or about Valory you would actually understand the words above as opposed to your removed ideas. I really do worry about this view you have of women in general, i am starting to think that maybe the female role models in your life have let you down in some way because your generalizations on females are both rude and off beam. If your life experience of women (bearing in mind you are gay and therefore don't relate in the same manner as those of us formulating that different bond) has been of women like you constantly describe here then most definitely need to deal with those issues as opposed to trying to convince the rest of us, who have balanced relationships with women, and strangely enough don't feel constrained by the kind of stereotypes you try to tell us we feel, that you are right and we are wrong. I am SO coming back to this! not now though, don't have time 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
