I know that when u were watching CNN all week and listening 2 the "professionals" talk about the basic "m.o." of a serial killer, they always say he's white, he's educated, he's a loner, anti-social" ...etc. etc...

So, the reality of this case is completely opposite. 2 black men (1 American and 1 Jamaican), have been arrested 4 the murders of 10 people. They didn't "keep 2 themselves", in fact at one time, they were members of a local karate class, had many friends, joined the service... etc.

As if people of color didn't have enough problems with their ethnicity in America, the 2 suspects arrested have provided the media with 2 new black faces 2 scorn. The last time this happened was when that Johnson guy killed several people on that subway train in New Jersey...

How many black people out there saw the killer's pictures on tv and hung their heads? Damn...not a black man!

This is probably how the Muslim people, or Arabic people feel when a terrorist attacks an American building... killing hundreds or thousands, how 1 feels when they see that, once again, they must b subjected 2 the hatred of America (or the world) as a result of fanatics (of their ethnicity) killing just 2 kill.

I hope we have learned not 2 judge so quickly...

I hope we have learned 2 limit our hatred of the killers 2 the killers...and not a whole race.

I hope justice will prevail and subject these killers 2 a penalty that would prevent them from becoming the celebrities they strive 2 b, and lock them away 4 life or better yet, death.

I hope the families of the victims feel a sense of closure and know that America truly feels 4 each and every one of them. All races were targeted... all should b mourned.

I hope the FBI learns 2 update their "profiling" techniques so that not only a certain number of suspects will b looked at, that all possiblities will b taken in2 consideration.

Finally, I hope I didn't offend anyone... I just felt the need 2 express my concerns. I'm angry, sad and comforted all at once. I hope you all have a nice weekend.

On top of it all, he's Muslim. Therefore, some of the more ignorant people in this country think that because his last name is Mohammed, then his motivation for these shootings is his religion and that he was a terrorist or associated with Bin Laden or whatever. I'm not Muslim, but from what I understand, but from what I understand, Islam is generally a very peaceful religion, but they have been so demonized because of the extremist parties that some people just assume that all Muslims are violent and crazy. I can't tell you how many people at work that I've had to point that out to. Idiots.
