that is soo cute.
I remember one game where you melt a bunch of different candy bars in diapers so it looks like poop. The diapers are numbered and the guests have to guess what brand of candy bar is in each diaper.
That was fun.

And I think I played a game where you take the labels off jars of baby food and number the jars and have to guess what the food is -that was hard.

I went to a baby shower once, I won all the games since I was the only one there who had actually been pregnant and had kids before

first game we were each given a piece of string and asked to guess the circumference (of the Mother To Be) and tie a knot which the MTB pulled down over her belly, winner being the closest to actual circumference.

second game we were given the phone, a Baby Born doll and a basket of laundry to peg on a clothes line, holding the baby and talking on the phone I was real good at that one, fast too!

I always end up @ showers that have the cotton ball game - blindfold the person, sit them on the floor w/ a big serving spoon, a big bowl & cotton balls on the floor. They have either 30 seconds or a minute to scoop as many cotton balls into the bowl as possible (which is funny b/c you can't feel cotton balls in a spoon, so they end up scooping air & the watchers find it oh so funny). Whoever scoops the most into the bowl wins a prize.

There's the word jumble where you unscramble words that have to do w/ all things baby...

You can do a "how well do you know the mother" game where you ask multiple choice questions about the mom (what's her fave movie, what's her middle name) & whoever gets the most wins some crap...

Clothespin game has already been mentioned...

Don't come up w/ too many games though, you'll want those heffas out of your house @ some point

Christina (my daughter) her Daddy (Denis) will be hosting a Diaper party for the Daddy-to-Be! I found that to be such a good idea. They will be going to a place called Buffalo Wild Wings, eating some wings, downing some beer, and all of Cody's buddies have to bring a bag of diapers.

8. What is the mother's birthday and year?
.....etc. etc.




A mother's purse.

This game would be a treasure hunt for items found in their purses. Read a list of items and challenge each attendee to find as many items on the list.

toys, snacks, brush, hair bow, pacifier, candy, shower invite, lotion loose change, something pink, picture of mother, medicine, safety pins...




Baby food taste test - tear the labels off the jar first. write the answers down....etc. etc.

I love the diaper cake, so adorable!!
I quickly looked through the other suggestions on party games at showers, so forgive me if this has already been suggested.

In a platter or basket, put about 15 baby related items:
A baby bottle,
rattle,
pacifier,
a diaper,
burb cloth,
baby comb,
baby shampoo,
baby powder,
baby oil, you get the idea, and then give your guests like 15 seconds each to look at the platter/basket. Take the platter/basket away from sight. They then have to right down on a piece of paper all of the things that they remember seeing on the platter/basket from memory. The one with the most right guesses, wins!
