Excellent movie. And Tilda Swinton was amazing.

That's very nice of you. smile I liked it ten times better than American Gangster, which had me half-asleep at most parts.

so I may have to give it a go.

Do it, big Joe.

So, are they going to tell you when you're shipping out, or what?! It's like you're in the Marines or some shit! neutral

Of all the nominated films I've seen this year, Michael Clayton was the most satisfying. It didn't take as many risks as some of the others, but I thought it was pretty flawless.

Awesome movie. The ending expertly resolves the scatteredness of the beginning.

Really awesome film.

nod exactly, like a lot of them good '60's thrillers, that's exactly what I liked about this movie!

Anxiety

not my kind of movie - the whole legal-corporate thriller thing goes way over my head and bores me to tears - but despite that handicap, i was engaged enough by the acting to slog through the thing til the end. and tilda was almost even MORE evil and soulless than she was as the white witch in "the lion the witch and the wardrobe", and that takes quite an effort...

i don't think i'd ever watch it again, but i enjoyed it for what it was. nod
