No dressing up for me this year... I'm just taking the kids out and about. It used to be my favorite holiday until I had kids... lol, then it sort of ruined it for me. It's fun for them though, that's all that matters!

Awww, Azure you can still dress up! Dress up so you're in sync (ugh I just said NSYNC!!) with your kids. I see adults do it all the time.

Halloween is my favorite 'holiday' of the year.

I mentioned my costume on another thread, but it needs to be said again. My roommate and I are both going as slutterflies.

Sluts + butterflies = slutterflies.

Get it? lol.

Okay, um, anyway we know it's cliched out but we're excited! Plus there will be at least three of us together.

As for plans, we're going to go to a ton of parties, get completely shitfaced, and wake up early for class the next morning.

If things get a little tedious, we can always go down to Pacific Avenue and walk around with all the crazy people!

the agony over deciding what to be. worrying that the costume won't be all you dreamed it would be. the fear of someone smashing your pumpkin or toiletpapering your house. anxiety over getting some poisoned candy. the annoyance of having to go up to strangers' doors to get candy when you don't even really like candy all that much.

I am taking my kids to West Edmonton Mall where it will be warm and will get a good stash of candies from the various stores throughout and go visit the Haunted House.

Well the Elvis and Priscilla costumes were a success. But too bad the night sucked due to my boyfriend being a complete dickhead. I think the next party Priscilla is going SOLO!

My favorite holidays are tricky. I like the meaning behind a lot of holidays, but not necessarily the manner in which they are celebrated. In terms of the way we celebrate it, my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It's the one holiday my family and I do right! I also love New Year's. Christmas obviously has the most important meaning to me, but there's always a lot of stress associated with it.

Ugh, I'll take Halloween over Xmas anyday. People are so mean around Xmas. Fighting for parking spots, awful traffic, spending all your money on presents...and it starts earlier every damn year. Ba humbug!
