I was looking at the thread with everyone posting their kitties. What gorgeous cats. I had three that I had to give away when I moved to Wisconsin. I cried for a month. I raised them from babies. I miss Sapphire, LittleToe and Shadow.

Now I am just crazy about these stupid cat posters. funkenstein (sp) posted a few on the now closed "I'M BACK" thread, and I posted one. I started looking at some of the posters last night, and three hours went by without me knowing how. I laughed so hard I was in tears. And I really needed a good laugh with my crappy life right now. The kitties did the trick.

I was the one who took in every stray that wandered into the yard. I even fed a wild Bobcat. I saw him walk into the yard one day, and from then on I placed food in the same spot. Oh, yes. I love animals. And speaking of cats wanting to be on the other side of the door and other crazy stuff...I remember when Sapphire learned to climb, and I put up my Christmas tree. She climbed up high and sat in that tree for two days. She would not come down. I tried to grab her to get her out and feed her, but she hissed at me. She was always a house cat, so I guess some evolutionary instinct told her she was supposed to be climbing that tree. She finally climbed down to eat, and was highly pissed when the tree came down. Every time I watch National Lampoon's Christmas movie, I LMAO.

I went out and bought her one of those "real" tree climbing posts. Although I think it was much more fun with branches and green needles to peek out of.
