book buddy

my son came home from school and told me he was now a book buddy

his school has a book buddy program- where older kids go into the younger kids classrooms and help them with reading, do various activities and become sort of mentors to the younger kids.

the class my sons group helps has my nephew in it- and they chose each other as book buddies touched mushy

another little boy approached my son- and my nephew said- no- he is mine lol
but my gorgeous son told this other little boy- if he couldnt find anyone else- he would help him to - my- he is growing up mushy heart

this proud mummy just wanted to share smile

I remember some of the 6th graders coming into my class when I was in the 1st grade. I got stuck with the nerd of the 6th grade. Her whole class called her "booger picker". She was nice to me though, taught me how to braid, and I never witnessed her picking her nose. shrug

Pure Excellence. Great valuable lesson and experience. So important it is to have all the positive experiences while we are young. The shape of our future needs it. rose

it's horrible how kids can be labelled from one incident disbelief
we had a new girl in our class called Liza. She was very pretty and outgoing. One day she sneezed and a big green snot landed on the table in front of her and everyone saw it. She had no future in that school after that day cry
